Shur-Loc® Fabric System has acquired PanelFRAMEtm and RollerPANELtm

September 6, 2011 – Monroe, WA

JSMD Key Products LLC/Shur-Loc® Fabric System has acquired PanelFRAMEtm and RollerPANELtm as of August 18, 2011.  Sales will be run through their Shur-Loc® E-Con line of products.

Rex White, former owner of PANELFRAME.COM and ROLLERPANEL.COM, will continue to sell, service and be available for technical assistance for the products on behalf of JSMD/Shur-Loc® and continue to be available for open houses and/or trade show demonstrations.

Shur-Loc® panels have been available since the early 90’s and will continue to produce their full line of mesh counts in a wide variety of sizes for the textile, graphic and circuit board industries.  With this new acquisition, Shur-Loc® will now have four panel lines – Shur-Loc® original, Shur-Loc® E-Con using original shapes but with economy mesh, and two new economy mesh lines – the RollerPANELtm panels and PanelFRAMEtm panels, all of which will be manufactured at their Monroe, Washington, facility.

Shur-Loc® will not be selling the existing PanelFRAMEtm frames that were sold earlier this year. However, they will be manufacturing a panel that will fit the existing frames on the market. To help fill the frame need in the market Shur-Loc® is suggesting their Shur-Loc® E-Z Conversion Kit, which is slightly less expensive, as an alternative to the current PanelFRAMEtm as well as to roller frames and/or stretch and glue frames. The Shur-Loc® E-Z Conversion Kit allows the customer to convert their static frames into high tension E-Z frames at less than half of the cost of a roller frame. To help with this transition Shur-Loc® is offering special discounted pricing now through October 31, 2011, on Shur-Loc® E-Z frames and Conversion Kits, which are available for immediate sale and delivery. The Shur-Loc® E-Z panels and E-Con panels fit both the E-Z Frames and the Conversion Kit frames of the same size.

Until October 31, 2011, Shur-Loc® will offer their existing Shur-Loc® Accelerator Kit A, Kit B and optional Turntable, a simple and easy way to tension roller frames, at special discounted prices as a suggested alternative to the Acme Stretcher.

You can take great pride in knowing all the products manufactured by Shur-Loc® are American made and keeping American people employed. Shur-Loc® would like to thank you in advance for continuing to support us and giving us the opportunity to supply you with high quality products.

Shur-Loc Fabric System Updates Economy Panel Line and Refreshes Branding
“Think Shur-Loc® panels are too expensive?  Think again!  Try a Shur-Loc® E-Con panel today.”

Monroe, WA, August 9, 2011 - In an effort to ease the burden on Screenprinters during these tough economic times, Shur-Loc® Fabric System is announcing an expansion of our economy mesh panel line. The expansion of the economy line also includes a rebranding of the product line from the Shur-Loc® economy fabric to the new Shur-Loc® E-Con fabric panel.

The Shur-Loc® E-Con fabric panel is the next generation of the Shur-Loc® economy fabric line. Originally designed in 2007, the economy fabric line was a feature item at the Long Beach Imprinted Sportswear Show in January of 2008. The E-Con fabric dramatically decreased the cost of a mesh panel while featuring the same proven aspects of the original
Shur-Loc® fabric panel including the built-in pre-softening and deflection curve, consistency, high quality and built for high-tension.

The economy panel line has been sold through Shur-Loc®’s online store since 2008, saving printers around the world thousands of dollars and countless hours of labor. Using the Shur-Loc® E-Con fabric panel will save the end user 30-40% when compared to the use of standard Shur-Loc® Fabric Panels.

Shur-Loc® E-Con fabric panels are available in standard fabric sizes ranging from 18x20 to 25x36 and are available for roller frames, Shur-Loc® “E-Z” Frame and Shur-Loc® “E-Z” Angle Conversion Kits.

Think Shur-Loc® panels are too expensive?  Think again!  Try a Shur-Loc® E-Con panel today.*

What Makes a Closeout Panel?

If you've ever wondered where our specials come from, you aren't alone. Many people have asked why some panels are more than 50% off and others are full price. Well, it's pretty simple. What happens during production of the fabrics, despite our best efforts, are some errors and issues. If the errors don't affect the functionality of the fabric, we can still sell them.
Things like mis-color coded fabric panels, mis-manufactured custom color fabrics (the user wanted dyed mesh instead of un-dyed) or even the most simple mistake of creating too many of one fabric at one time will lead to major discounts for you.
In an effort to make life easier for everyone to find these amazing deals, you can now see the current closeout panels online in our special closeout section on our webstore. These specials are only available from shurloc.com and are priced to move.
Every closeout fabric panel is manufactured with the same standards as our normal fabrics. Log in today to see our deals online at shurloc.com or by following us on Twitter or Facebook!

What People Are Saying About The E-Z Frame

People have been asking, "What are people saying about the "E-Z" Frame System?" Now, we are happy to let you know. So, without further ado, here are some quotes from various users from forums, online reviews and just friendly emails!

Over the years (about 10 using retens) we've used Diamond chase rollers, Newmans rollers, Shurloc EZ frames. For my money, the EZ frames are the easiest, fastest and most user friendly of all.

I have a few EZ Frames with the new Murakami mesh (converting from statics). 225-40 and 330-30. They have 40% and 37% opening, but due to the thinner fibers, much lower tension. The amount of ink going through is just amazing. I've had to change my coating from 1+2 to 1+1 as way too much emulsion was going through!

And there's more coming soon!
